This particular wedding is special to Annie and I as Will is my cousin and we have known Jenny for it seems like forever. I remember just exactly how we received the news as we were unplugged on a Caribbean cruise for a week. The moment we stepped back into Miami, I opened up Facebook and the very first thing that caught my eye was Will’s proposal to Jenny at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios. We were absolutely delighted when they told us that they wanted us to shoot their wedding at Noor Pasadena.
Jenny started the day by herself getting ready at the bridal suite at Noor. She was so calm and collected as she applied her own makeup while waiting for her bridesmaids to arrive. When they did arrive, they quickly got changed and helped Jenny put on her stunning wedding dress. Meanwhile, Will and his groomsmen arrived at Noor all dressed up and ready to go.
Ever since she was a little girl, Jenny always dreamed about her wedding day. To be more specific, she always dreamed of the moment she walked down the aisle in her wedding dress to see her groom for the first time. That moment finally arrived and family and friends were there to witness Jenny + Will’s wedding at Noor Pasadena. It was a traditional Filipino wedding ceremony with sponsors, bible, aras or coins, veil, and cord.
After the ceremony, all the guests headed over to cocktail hour while we captured the formals of the immediate family and the bridal party. We then took Jenny + Will around the surrounding area to capture the romantics.
Prior to all the guests entering the Ella Ballroom for the reception, Jenny + Will got a sneak peak of the amazing job done by the Wife of the Party and Wen Floral Design teams. Everything got started with the Jenny + Will’s 1st dance to “Spend My Life With You” by Eric Benet and Tamia. How do I know that? Because it was Annie and my first dance song as well, so you know I was singing along. =) DJ Herick had the party going all night long and everyone enjoyed themselves to the point of getting down….literally.
Annie and I had such a blast at this wedding, and why wouldn’t we? We knew half the guests there! We were more surprised that our two boys Jerelle and Javien didn’t bother us at all while we were hard at work.
Congratulations again Jenny + Will. We officially welcome you into the family now Jenny! Annie and I hope that you two had much needed rest and fun in the sun while out on your honeymoon in Honolulu. You both will need plenty of rest for what’s to come later this year. 😉
